All of the casement window stays we offer have been hand-picked to cover the needs of our customers, from items offering value for money to high-end finishes for corporate clients. In this blog post, we will give you some tips on how to install the window stay properly and recommend some of our most popular casement window stays.

Installation Tips

  • Find the correct postion to place your window stay. This should be slightly offset from the centre to allow the window to open and close properly.
  • Position the hinge of the stay on the opening side of the sash. You can also place on the opposite side.
  • Your stay fixers are screwed into the botton of the windowsill and will be used to keep your window propped open. Positon them in the first hole and the last hole of your stay and line them up to the window to find where you need to fit them.
  • To ensure a weather tight finish, when you install the second stay fixers ensure it sits flush to the window.
