Our location in Bath gives us a unique understanding of listed buildings projects. As acknowledged experts in our field, we specify and supply architectural ironmongery for any type of construction be it a barn conversion, school, hotel or garden shed.
Established in 1981, we have built enduring partnerships with architects and builders locally and nationally. As a registered member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers, we uphold the highest professional standards and are continually updated about developments in best practice and building regulation.
The new TBKS showroom opened in 1999 with the space to display our entire product range and house our growing UK and overseas mail order business.
A family of experts
TBKS is a family business. Since starting in a Bath corner shop 25 years ago, we have become experts in our field. The family remains very closely involved in running the business and many of our team have worked with us for years, some all of their working lives. Knowledge of our products and the building process is what makes TBKS different. TBKS offers one of the widest ranges of door and window furniture in the UK. We have carefully selected products from established manufacturers and craftsmen that are robust and fit-for purpose. Our specialist Lock Shop stocks products that conform to the latest legislation and we can provide expert advice and recommendation for security in any type of property.
Scheduling for Architects
Working from drawings and plans our qualified technical team will produce detailed ironmongery schedules to help architects and developers plan and cost larger projects at the earliest stage.
An International Business based in Bath
We have worked with overseas clients for more than 20 years and have invested heavily in IT and e-commerce systems to efficiently quote procure and track international orders. Our export department will ship products, packed into labelled doorsets and provide the appropriate documentation for any international destination.
